Interested in Serving on the FCHA Board of Commissioners?

The Forest City Housing Authority is seeking dedicated community members to serve on its Board of Commissioners as openings become available.

While Board members are not compensated, this is a rewarding opportunity to give back to your community by helping guide the vision for affordable housing in Rutherford County and supporting the residents who rely on these services.

  • Appointments are made by the Mayor of Forest City and approved by the City's Board of Commissioners.
  • Training: New members must complete Commissioner Certification Training within 120 days of appointment. A certificate will be awarded and displayed at the FCHA office.
  • Meetings: Held monthly, typically on the 4th Tuesday at 12:00 PM.
